Marquis Alliance currently has two laboratory facilities: a 1,250 square foot lab in our downtown Calgary office and another quality assurance and quality control lab located in Nisku, Alberta attached to one of Marquis Alliance's distribution warehouses.
The Nisku laboratory is used to ensure the quality of products received by our suppliers prior to being shipped to the field.
This is Marquis Alliance's main laboratory. It is an ideal space for International Lab Operations and Customer Demonstrations. Extensive technical experience using state of the art analytical equipment ensures high quality data collection and interpretation. In addition, strong links with external facilities (both industrial and academic) ensures rapid access to a wide range of analytical techniques and test instrumentation. In addition to research and development the Marquis Alliance laboratory provides comprehensive technical support for all field operations. This ensures that operational issues can be quickly resolved in a cost effective manner.
The laboratory is also responsible for the maintenance and calibration of field test equipment and the development of Standard Operating Procedures.
Marquis Alliance also offers a wide range of technical training programs for both internal staff and customers. These training programs typically include both theoretical and practical (laboratory based) sections.
Internal training programs range from multi-week technical programs to brief 'lunch and learn' seminars. Marquis Alliance also offers a complete 'Introduction to Drilling Fluids' two-day customer training program. (If required, individual sections can be covered in shorter training sessions).
